Ganggo is the energy coursing through each member of our group and our collaborative works. Ganggo is an entity that lives through six individuals who share a common practice of painting and feeling. Our physical meetings rotate between our studios, and happen when all of our feelings are the same. We maintain an open agenda, and insist on using pleasurable working methods. We feel the spaces we occupy, and make a document of time and energy.
We collaborate in the spirit of friendship, and harness the feeling of happiness through art-making. We have healthy discussions about our thoughts on art, and share with each other our life updates, as a way for us to gain a deep and personal understanding of our joints as a single body. The Ganggo Organ is chatroom where we meet and have non-linear discussions. It's like a crystal ball that the members speak to and see into. It is a deep well that connects to each member when we are not all together in one place and time, to ensure that the meeting of feelings goes on. Ganggo is a mystery that we do not want to deconstruct. The moisture it produces is enough to make us feel sexy. It's like the first cup of quaffee at 3am.
